What can I do with the Basic Package?You can scan and view any opaque nonmetallic shape. You can also identify landmarks (areas of interest) and export an AAOP compatible file. Other standard CAD file formats may also be exported. Any file you create is compatible with BioSculptor® software.
What is the BioSculptor® Modification Package*?
The Modification Package provides seamless integration into the BiopSculptor® Shape Manipulation Software and provides unlimited compatibility with the BioSculptor® family of products. This is not a scaled back version of our software, it is the complete version for basic and advanced Orthotic & Prosthetic modifications. With this additional upgrade, your system is ready to grow and consistently meet your needs. What if I want to import information from casts or existing sockets?
You can use the BioScanner™ to digitize casts, positive and negative molds, and existing sockets with minimal effort and precise accuracy. If necessary, the model may be scanned in pieces and automatically put back together through software.
Where can I have my positive models carved?Send your file to any CAMlabs facility for guaranteed quality or use BioSculptor® AAOP file interchange (included in the basic package). The AAOP file interchange allows compatibility to any existing software package or carver that can accept AAOP format.
